Project Estimator - Hospitality Renovation with Travel

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator specializing in hospitality renovations, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setting requiring limited travel. This role is focused on estimating renovation projects in operational hotels, emphasizing profit protection and risk management before construction begins. Our clientele includes prestigious hotel chains like Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham, and Choice Hotels, delivering renovation services nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

The estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for occupied hotel renovation projects, balancing sequencing, guest experience, logistical challenges, and risk assessment alongside material costs. Responsibilities include competitive bid estimating, quantity takeoffs, subcontractor oversight, cost analysis, and preconstruction planning to ensure project profitability and effective delivery.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate must have direct experience with:

• Estimating renovation projects in occupied hotels
• Understanding and implementing Hospitality Property Improvement Plans (PIPs)
• Conducting competitive bid estimations
• Performing quantity takeoffs accurately
• Managing subcontractors effectively
• Analyzing costs and supporting preconstruction planning efforts

Compensation and Employment Details

The preferred employment type is W-2, although 1099 contractors will be considered. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 annually, dependent on experience, with additional performance bonuses offered.
