Role Overview
The Product & Trade Marketing Intern supporting Latin America will assist with all aspects of 360-degree campaign execution across Fragrance, Makeup, and Skincare categories. Key focus areas include comprehensive data analysis, managing trade event logistics, and preparing detailed reports to support strategic decisions.
Key Duties
- Participate in building in-depth category analyses, covering Sell-In, Sell-Out data, and competitor research to aid decision making.
- Contribute insights for forecasting and novelty reservations by evaluating historical trends, strategic objectives, product placement, and discontinuation plans.
- Review product assortments across LATAM markets to recommend improvements such as extensions, discontinuations, or streamlining of lines.
- Assist Product Managers in organizing trade events, including scheduling meetings, coordinating with internal and external teams, and compiling final event documentation with reports and imagery.
- Maintain updated trade event schedules in the internal platform for all markets.
- Support the creation of reports and presentations for regional teams, market updates, launch activities, competitor analysis, and monthly commercial performance reviews.
- Coordinate cross-functional data collection from markets and regional teams for timely, accurate reporting.
- Develop and keep current assortment presentations per category.
- Aid in updating Marketing Plans and managing product discontinuation records.
- Contribute to biannual Product & Trade team budget preparation and consolidation.
- Support Marketing and Product Managers in integrating Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and forecasting deliverables for Export and the broader LATAM region.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between 6 months to 1 year experience in Operational Marketing, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Energetic, self-driven with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and capable of juggling competing deadlines effectively.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities and an eye for enhancement opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and confident with numerical data interpretation.
- Passion for and curiosity about the beauty and luxury market.
- Detail-oriented and willing to engage hands-on in tasks.
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to craft compelling presentations.
- Possesses a positive, flexible attitude responsive to business changes.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
