About the Role
Join Starbucks' Channel Development Front End Innovation team to lead the creation and launch of At Home Coffee products that bring the beloved café experience to customers' homes. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping long-term innovation strategies, managing product development and commercialization efforts, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration to execute on Starbucks' vision for At Home Coffee.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support a 3+ year innovation pipeline integrating macrotrends, consumer data, and business insights to align with strategic priorities.
- Drive the creation and launch of significant new products, working closely with project teams to resolve challenges and ensure smooth innovation cycles.
- Utilize leadership and strategic skills to connect internal Starbucks teams and multiple Nestlé brands, crafting product and innovation recommendations.
- Manage medium-term innovations through design, testing, and commercialization stages, including navigating the stage gate process to refine desirability, feasibility, and viability.
- Collaborate across departments including R&D, consumer insights, supply chain, finance, marketing, while embodying Starbucks' mission and values.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in launching successful innovations, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in product innovation, brand or category management, marketing, or strategy.
- At least 2 years leading projects in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
- Strong expertise in human-centered design and test/learn methodologies, leveraging consumer insights to develop empathetic brands and products.
- Experience managing product strategies through market introduction and the first year post-launch.
- Ability to navigate matrix organizations and collaborate across cultures and functions.
- Effective multitasking and deadline management skills.
- Data-driven decision making to grow business outcomes.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capability to work effectively amid ambiguity and change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- MBA degree is highly preferred.

The base salary for this position is influenced by knowledge, skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Typically, hires are not at the top salary level of the role. The role requires onsite presence four days weekly to foster collaboration.
