Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a Product Director who will take charge of the company’s worldwide Fiat & Payments area. The scope includes banking partnerships, payment rails, fiat deposit and withdrawal flows, local payment options, and infrastructure for moving money across borders.
The role requires a leader who can shape product direction while also staying involved in execution, partner coordination, and everyday product choices.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and own the global vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fiat & Payments.
- Lead product development across bank connections, local payment methods, fiat on-ramp and off-ramp flows, payout systems, and card funding journeys.
- Work closely with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and external partners to build reliable and scalable payment infrastructure.
- Support growth into new geographies and payment networks.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, payment processors, and fintech infrastructure vendors.
- Establish and monitor core performance metrics such as conversion, payment completion rates, transaction expense, and operational productivity.
- Coach Product Managers and help grow the product function while staying involved in hands-on execution.
Candidate Profile
- At least 8 years of Product Management experience, with substantial exposure to fiat, payments, banking, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, including bank transfers, card payments, payout flows, and alternative payment methods.
- History of shipping complex products that depend on multiple external partners and integrations.
- Experience delivering products across different countries and regulatory settings.
- Working familiarity with global payment rails such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, PIX, SPEI, and UPI.
- Strong analytical thinking, strategic judgment, and execution ability, backed by a data-led approach and business understanding.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, high-growth environments and taking strong ownership of outcomes.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to crypto, stablecoins, wallets, or digital asset infrastructure.
- Experience designing systems with scalability in mind.
- Prior people management experience.
