Private Equity Associate

Overview

Our client, a prominent mid-market private equity fund based in Munich, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Associates. The role involves extensive involvement throughout the private equity investment lifecycle within German-speaking markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the entire private equity investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, and overseeing portfolio management.
• Perform detailed financial analyses, valuations, market research, and evaluate investment opportunities carefully.
• Develop investment memoranda, construct financial models, and prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and investment committee reviews.
• Collaborate closely with company management, advisors, and internal teams to support successful deal completion.

Qualifications

• Possess 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in private equity, investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, transaction advisory services, or related sectors.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, analytical assessment, and due diligence processes.
• Fluent in both German and English, with excellent communication skills in written and spoken formats.
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related academic field, preferably with a commendable academic record.
