Role Summary
We are offering a full-time, 12-month temporary opportunity for a seasoned risk and assurance professional to enhance risk maturity and assure frameworks at QLeave. This newly established position will focus on advancing enterprise risk management practices, reinforcing first-line risk accountability, and establishing a robust second-line assurance function aligned with our strategic goals.
Key Duties
- Lead and continuously enhance enterprise risk management and assurance frameworks.
- Strengthen the organisation's first-line risk ownership and second-line assurance methodologies.
- Conduct risk-based evaluations of operational processes and key controls to verify their effectiveness and conformity to frameworks.
- Offer expert guidance to organisational leaders for risk identification, assessment, treatment, and control implementation.
- Develop comprehensive board and committee documentation regarding risk management, assurance findings, emerging risks, and control efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of contributing to enterprise risk management and assurance processes, fostering risk-aware cultures, producing high-calibre reports, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. An in-depth understanding of the interaction between systems, operations, risks, controls, and business outcomes is essential. Preferred qualifications include business management, risk management, governance, assurance, audit, or related fields.
