This position commands oversight of crucial projects that protect youth and support local community harmony during major celebrations on the Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities

You will spearhead the creation and execution of detailed planning documents, oversee logistical arrangements, and coordinate closely with multiple stakeholders including nine government agencies, seven community organizations, and the City of Gold Coast. Managing on-ground operations during Schoolies week to ensure compliance with safety regulations and legislation is paramount, alongside monitoring budgets and offering strategic guidance to enhance the program's overall effectiveness.

Collaborative Engagement

Your role will involve orchestrating a collective response facilitating cooperation between diverse government entities and community partners, while promoting year-round safety education and communication campaigns aimed at school leavers and their families.

Work Requirements and Conditions

The position requires your physical presence on-site in Gold Coast during Schoolies week, including work beyond typical business hours. Compensation for overtime will be managed with time-off-in-lieu arrangements, and rest days are arranged immediately following the event response to support your wellbeing.
