About the Role
This position is for a practical, proactive Physical Security and Safety Specialist who will serve as the main security contact for Germany and nearby Central European markets. The role is intended for someone who can establish, manage, and expand the security function while working in a dynamic setting where priorities can change quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily physical security activity for Germany and adjacent Central European markets, acting as the region’s main security contact.
- Respond to a wide variety of security incidents and coordinate with HR, Legal, and local partners as required.
- Coordinate physical security projects, including equipment rollouts, system improvements, and ongoing upkeep of access control systems at office and market sites.
- Develop and sustain working relationships with security vendors and installation partners to maintain service quality and continuity.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Real Estate, HR, Legal, and local General Managers to spot risks early and address security needs proactively.
- Support global security programs and help create repeatable, scalable processes for a rapidly growing business.
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English is required because it is the company’s primary working language.
- German fluency is also required for everyday interaction with local stakeholders and vendors.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in physical security, preferably with administrative or project management responsibilities.
- A broad security background with the ability to manage operational and project work on your own.
- Experience working with security vendors and suppliers.
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to identify issues and take action without waiting for instructions.
- Interest in AI tools and new technology.
- Security coordinator certification or a similar qualification is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
