Overview
Our client, a leading private equity-backed firm in the U.S. appraisal management sector, has experienced consistent growth for over two decades. Following a strategic leadership expansion in 2021, they embarked on a multi-year initiative to accelerate expansion, broaden product offerings, and consolidate market share. They have acquired eight complementary businesses in the past three years and have become the second largest appraisal management company in the country. Operating from seven offices across 25 states, they leverage cutting-edge technology, a vast network of valuation service providers, and a dedicated expert workforce to provide comprehensive appraisal and collateral valuation solutions to mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors nationwide.
This role is primarily based onsite in Orange, California or Lenexa, Kansas; however, exceptional candidates from other regions with direct flights to these metro areas and willingness to travel frequently may also be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations will take a pivotal leadership position at both the Division and corporate levels, reporting directly to the Division President and collaborating closely with the COO and CEO. This influential role involves overseeing the core division’s integration and management alongside its acquired brands, focusing on a collaborative, adaptable, and customer-centric operational structure.
- Lead and oversee five departmental teams involved in valuations, order assignments, and customer service, spanning two offices.

- Partner with network management to maintain superior vendor selection, credentialing, performance management, capacity planning, and continuous process improvement to meet service and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with business development and client relations leadership to support client onboarding, retention, service-level agreements, and escalation protocols.
- Work with technology and product teams to assess and optimize workflow management systems, automation tools, and platforms to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve margins, manage operational budgets, and contribute to financial planning.
- Coordinate with compliance, appraisal operations, and quality control teams to ensure technical training and empower resolution of complex valuation challenges involving customers, borrowers, appraisers, and regulators.
- Represent operations leadership in cross-functional initiatives, strategic planning, and integration projects related to acquisitions and new product launches.

- Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills partnering across departments including sales, finance, technology, and strategy to align operational execution with company goals.
