Role overview
A long-standing, family-operated insurance brokerage in Drogheda is hiring a Personal & Commercial Lines Executive. The position offers variety, strong development opportunities, and the chance to work in a supportive, close-knit team environment.

Role scope
The role combines work across Personal Lines and Commercial Lines, with the exact split depending on your background and experience.
- If your background is stronger in Personal Lines, you will be developed further into Commercial Lines.
- If you already have Commercial Lines exposure, you will still support Personal Lines work when required.
You will manage a varied portfolio of insurance activity and take ownership of cases from beginning to end while maintaining high service and compliance standards.
Key duties
- Handle existing business, new business, and mid-term adjustments.
- Manage renewals, re-marketing, and placement negotiations.
- Review policy documents, wording, and endorsements.
- Deliver professional and approachable client support.
- Take responsibility for files and cases through to completion.
- Work in line with regulatory and compliance requirements at all times.
Candidate profile
The brokerage is looking for someone with broker-side experience, strong communication skills, and the confidence to work independently as well as within a small team. Attention to detail, organisation, and client handling ability are essential.
Ideally, you will have 2 to 5 years of experience across Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, or both. An APA qualification is required, and progress toward CIP is preferred.
