People Strategy Consultant, Regional People Team

Job Role Overview

As a People Strategy Consultant on the Regional People Team, you will spearhead Shopee's people-related strategies through impactful projects across the region. The role involves designing and launching a wide range of initiatives aligned with business needs, covering areas such as Performance & Rewards, Learning & Organization Development, Organizational Design, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic people initiatives across diverse HR domains.
• Investigate industry best practices and analyze data to determine the practicality and value of proposed projects.
• Manage high-impact projects from conception to completion, coordinating with senior leadership and various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Measure and assess the effectiveness and outcomes of initiatives for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
• A minimum of six years’ experience in human resources, specifically with expertise in at least two of the following areas: Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, or Organizational Development/Transformation.
• Strong strategic thinker with the capability to quickly assess situations by blending business insight and understanding of people dynamics.
• Highly analytical with excellent project management and execution abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Detail-focused, well-organized, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to achieving results.
• Positive team-oriented mindset adaptable to dynamic and ambiguous environments.
