It serves as the preferred and reliable payment method for Shopee's e-commerce platform, collaborating with over 100 financial institutions. This cooperation ensures secure and steady payment services supporting tens of millions of merchants and hundreds of millions of end-users.

Job Description

• Design and implement secure, highly reliable, and complex transaction systems tailored for financial operations, accommodating concurrent processing for seamless user experiences.
• Define modular, flexible system functions and deployment strategies suited for varied business contexts, physical infrastructures, and regulatory environments across Southeast Asia.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of software solutions and projects executed within the organization.
• Lead the creation of Proof-of-Concept solutions and provide technical guidance on software and platform feature development while considering security and risk aspects.
• Contribute to project guidance by addressing technical challenges and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery standards.

Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Availability to start full-time work in January, May, or June of 2027.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language among Golang, Python, C++, or Java; strong understanding of common data structures, algorithms, and multithreading techniques.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL or Oracle and knowledge of performance optimization strategies; familiarity with middleware technologies like Redis, HBase, and Kafka.
• Understanding of distributed system architectures and microservice frameworks including Kubernetes (K8S); knowledge of network communication protocols such as TCP and HTTPS; adept with data serialization formats including XML, JSON, and ProtoBuf.
• Quick learner with excellent communication skills; capable of effective teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship experience related to financial systems or high-concurrency system development.
• Exposure to and competence in artificial intelligence technologies.
