About the Role
A prominent tertiary healthcare organization in Qatar is looking to hire a Pediatric Endocrinology Consultant with Western training. The ideal candidate should bring substantial expertise in managing pediatric diabetes, growth and puberty disorders, metabolic and endocrine diseases, obesity-related conditions in children and adolescents, as well as complex endocrine cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for pediatric diabetes patients.
- Diagnose and manage disorders related to growth and puberty.
- Treat metabolic and endocrine abnormalities in children.
- Address obesity and related health issues in pediatric and adolescent patients.
- Handle complex endocrine cases requiring multi-disciplinary approaches.
Additional Expectations
- Experience practicing in tertiary pediatric centers, academic or teaching hospitals.
- Contribute effectively within multidisciplinary pediatric care teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from American Board, Canadian Fellowship, CCT, or European Board in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills with a patient-focused care approach.
- Eligibility to obtain GCC medical licensing is an advantage.
