Role Overview
The Pedagogy Specialist - English will help improve English learning materials by assessing lesson feedback, reviewing grammar exercises, and ensuring the content is educationally sound and well sequenced. The role uses learner insights to strengthen the logic and quality of the learning experience.
What You Will Do
- Examine feedback from trial lessons and rate it based on its educational value, helping determine what learners encounter next.
- Assess grammar practice items for accuracy, quality, and alignment with teaching goals.
- Link observations from lessons back to foundational grammar topics so the learning path remains coherent.
- Use learner data and feedback to guide ongoing improvements to English learning content.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in education, TESOL/TEFL, applied linguistics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong understanding of pedagogy and language-teaching methods, with curriculum or lesson-design experience preferred.
- Background in reviewing, annotating, or quality-checking educational materials; experience in EdTech or AI-supported learning is an advantage.
- Advanced English ability at CEFR C1 level or above.
Engagement Details
This is a contract engagement with an onsite work arrangement in Florida, United States. The expected time commitment is 10 to 20 hours per week, and the assignment is planned for 4 weeks with a possible extension.
