Role overview
This payroll position is based in the administration team in Stuttgart, but the work can be carried out almost entirely from home. Occasional travel to Stuttgart is expected.
What you will do
- Independently process payroll from start to finish for a defined group of employees in SAP.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and contribute to the company’s ongoing development.
- Handle monthly and annual closing activities together with the team and support external audits.
- Serve as the contact person for employee queries related to labor law, social insurance, and wage tax, and also manage time and attendance processes.
Profile and requirements
- At least one year of payroll experience with SAP HCM is preferred; fully completed end-to-end payroll expertise is not mandatory.
- Prior exposure to payroll for retirees or company pension recipients is an advantage.
- Experience in operational HR management is helpful and supports a broader understanding of HR processes.
- Good knowledge of labor, tax, and social security law is required for day-to-day payroll work.
- Confident use of SAP HCM, ideally additional SAP modules, and MS Office is expected.
- You should bring strong commitment, teamwork, and a self-directed, organized, and dependable working style.
