Job Overview

Join Monee as a Payments & Partnerships Specialist to support and enhance ShopeePay's regional payment infrastructure across various card networks and payment rails, including solutions for cross-border transactions and remittances.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional initiatives to improve ShopeePay’s payment systems focusing on card networks and payment channels.
• Develop and nurture relationships with banks, card schemes, and payment partners to spot inefficiencies and identify cost-saving opportunities in payment flows.
• Collaborate with internal departments to encourage user adoption and increase transaction volumes, including managing new payment roll-outs and partner promotional campaigns.
• Provide ongoing support for cross-functional projects involving local markets, product, marketing, risk, legal, and compliance teams.
• Perform competitor analysis and study market trends and best practices to generate insights that enhance product offerings and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Previous internship or experience in banking is favored.
• A growth-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn payment backend processes, settlement procedures, and system integration.
• Able and confident in communicating and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
