A global payments company with an aggressive expansion plan and a growing partner network is looking for a Payment Rules & Policy AVP/VP to enhance its governance and rules function.
What this role focuses on
You will define and update the governance structure that guides how partners work within the network. This covers onboarding standards, transaction handling rules, risk controls, and dispute resolution processes. The role is centered on establishing the underlying principles, policy logic, and operating framework that support these areas.
Cross-functional partnership
You will collaborate closely with teams across commercial, legal, risk, compliance, and product to make sure new initiatives are backed by clear, practical, and properly documented policy support.
Policy development and governance
Part of the role involves comparing internal rules with wider industry practice, identifying regulatory implications early, and turning strategic business goals into rules that are easy to understand and enforce.

The preferred background is approximately 7 to 10 years of experience in payments, with exposure to digital payments, acquiring, fraud, or risk management. The right person will be highly structured, detail-oriented, and confident working in complex stakeholder environments. You should also be able to explain policy decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
