About the Role
Join myVA Rocks, a company connecting busy professionals and business owners with exceptional Virtual Assistants. We are currently seeking experienced and innovative Social Media Specialists to expand our dynamic team. This position offers a 100% remote, part-time contract with flexible hours, approximately 20 hours per week during standard business times, allowing you to collaborate efficiently with clients across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and manage social media presence for multiple clients by creating compelling on-brand content using design and marketing tools.
- Develop and implement digital strategies including crafting engaging captions, designing graphics or videos, and scheduling posts on various platforms.
- Conduct research on relevant hashtags and current trends to optimize campaign reach and engagement.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess performance and inform strategic adjustments.
- Provide clients with insightful guidance to maximize their social media influence and streamline content management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a creative social media role such as Social Media Coordinator, Marketing Director, or Brand/Digital Content Manager.
- Proficiency in tools including Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, CapCut/Inshot, RiteTag, and Trends.co, along with social media management platforms like Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, Planoly, Loomly, HeyOrca, CoSchedule, SocialPilot, or Tailwind.
- Additional marketing or creative skills like copywriting, email marketing, audio/video editing are advantageous.
- Capability to dedicate at least 20 business hours weekly with a professional setting suitable for client meetings.
Soft Skills
- Proactive and adaptable mindset with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent grammatical accuracy.
- Organized, resourceful, and able to quickly learn new systems and overcome challenges independently.
