ReminderMedia is a prominent marketing services provider supporting over 100,000 small businesses including real estate agents, insurance professionals, and financial advisors. We offer a variety of branded lifestyle magazines, digital marketing platforms, and creative content designed to keep our clients top of mind with key audiences.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager to lead our social media presence across our owned channels. This hands-on creative role involves conceptualizing, producing, and publishing short-form video and design assets, maintaining a consistent content schedule, and driving engagement growth. Secondary duties include public relations support and coordinating our involvement in industry conferences and partner events. This hybrid position is based in our King of Prussia office, requiring regular on-site work due to content production and collaborative development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, script, produce, and publish original short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Appear on camera and audio in brand content and direct other participants such as employees, clients, and partners.
- Develop supporting static and design content for social, email, and web channels.
- Maintain and adhere to a content calendar to ensure timely publishing across channels.
- Implement and uphold ReminderMedia's brand voice, visual identity, and messaging standards consistently.
- Utilize approved AI tools for creating images, videos, and designs, documenting AI-assisted content as per company policy.
- Monitor performance metrics of channels and posts against engagement goals and prepare regular reports.
- Draft press releases, product announcements, and external communications for approval.
- Maintain media contact lists, create story angles, and pitch to media outlets and industry publications.
- Support marketing efforts for both paid and organic promotions.
- Collect, curate, and obtain permissions for user-generated content and client testimonials using approved release processes.
- Ensure all testimonial and endorsement materials comply with advertising regulations including FTC guidelines, SEC marketing rules, and state-specific insurance and real estate rules, coordinating legal review where applicable.
- Respond to audience comments and messages in a timely manner, escalating issues to internal teams as needed.
- Act as the primary liaison for conferences and industry events, managing logistics, deadlines, deliverables, and on-site content capture.
- Foster relationships with event organizers and partners and coordinate cross-promotional activities.
- Travel occasionally (approximately 10-15%) including overnight stays and work outside normal hours during event periods.
- Note: This role does not have authority to enter contracts or financial commitments; all agreements require approval from designated company officers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years managing social media channels for businesses or organizations.
- Proven ability to produce short-form video from concept through editing and publication.
- Experience creating design assets for social or digital marketing.
- Proficient with AI tools for image, video, or design creation.
- Experience managing a content calendar and meeting scheduled deadlines across multiple platforms.
- Familiar with platform analytics to assess content performance.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and audio in published content.
- Willing to travel about 10-15% annually including overnight trips.
- Portfolio of previously published work required, demonstrating short-form video and other content.
- Strong professional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule based in King of Prussia, PA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public relations, communications, or media relations with successful earned-media placements.
- Background marketing to small business owners or professional services such as real estate, insurance, or financial advisors.
- Knowledge of advertising compliance in regulated sectors.
- Experience managing brand presence and event coordination at trade shows or industry conferences.
- Familiarity with social scheduling, listening, or asset management software.
Evaluation Metrics
- Consistent publishing schedule adherence across all channels.
- Growth in social engagement and follower counts relative to set targets.
- High volume of original short-form video content produced and published.
- Achievement of earned media placements.
- Collection of compliant, authorized client testimonials and user-generated content.
