Job description

About ReminderMedia

ReminderMedia is a prominent marketing services firm that supports over 100,000 small businesses in expanding their client networks through an array of digital and direct-mail marketing resources. Our clientele includes real estate agents, insurance professionals, financial advisors, and various other relationship-focused small enterprises, for whom we deliver branded lifestyle magazines, digital marketing solutions, and engaging content to keep them top-of-mind with valued contacts.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Social Media & Content Manager responsible for managing ReminderMedia's presence across our owned social platforms. This role emphasizes creative content production where you'll develop, produce, and publish short-form videos and design assets. Maintaining a steady publishing rhythm and enhancing platform engagement are key objectives.

Additionally, this role includes supporting public relations efforts and coordinating our participation at industry conferences and partner events. While content creation is primary, PR and event coordination are significant secondary responsibilities.

This hybrid position requires regular onsite presence at our King of Prussia office, as most content production involves on-location filming and collaborative development with marketing and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts, scripts, produce, and publish original short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other company channels.
  • Appear on camera and audio frequently in ReminderMedia content, as well as direct colleagues, clients, and partners appearing on camera.
  • Create accompanying static and graphic assets for social media, email campaigns, and websites.
  • Manage and adhere to a content calendar, ensuring consistent publication across channels.
  • Implement ReminderMedia’s branding voice, visuals, and messaging standards across all materials.
  • Utilize approved AI tools for generating images, designs, and videos in line with the company's AI Policy, including documentation of AI-generated content.
  • Monitor content performance via analytics, tracking engagement and growth metrics, and deliver regular reports.
  • Write press releases, product announcements, and other external communications for approval.
  • Maintain media contact lists, create story pitches, and engage with industry publications.
  • Collaborate with marketing on paid and organic promotional campaigns.
  • Source, curate, and obtain approvals for user-generated content and client testimonials through the established release procedures.
  • Ensure testimonial content complies with relevant advertising regulations including FTC guidelines, SEC marketing rules for investment clients, and state insurance and real estate laws, coordinating legal review when necessary.
  • Engage with community interactions on social platforms, responding within set timelines and escalating service issues appropriately.
  • Act as ReminderMedia’s liaison for conferences and industry events, managing logistics, deadlines, deliverables, and on-site content capture.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and partners on promotional initiatives and content collaborations.
  • Travel occasionally (about 10-15% annually), including overnight stays and hours beyond standard business times during events.
  • Note: This position cannot authorize contracts, sponsorships, or expenditures; all such approvals go through designated company leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years managing social media for a brand, business, or organization.
  • Proven ability to produce short-form videos from concept to publication, including filming, editing, and captioning.
  • Experience creating design assets for social and digital platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of AI-based tools for creating images, videos, or designs.
  • Proficiency working with content calendars to meet scheduled publishing deadlines across multiple channels.
  • Competent in using platform analytics to evaluate content effectiveness.
  • Comfortability appearing on camera and voice recordings in published content.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% annually, including overnight stays.
  • Portfolio submission required showing previously published content including at least two short-form videos; no unpaid test work is requested during hiring.
  • Strong professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Availability to maintain a hybrid work schedule from King of Prussia, PA office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in public relations, communications, or media relations with successful earned media placements.
  • Marketing experience targeting small business owners or professional service sectors such as real estate, insurance, or financial advising.
  • Knowledge of advertising compliance within regulated industries.
  • Experience managing brand presence at trade shows or conferences.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling, monitoring, or digital asset management tools.

Success Metrics

  • Consistent meeting of content publishing schedules across platforms.
  • Growth in social media engagement and follower numbers against targets.
  • High volume of original short-form videos created and shared.
  • Obtaining earned media placements.
  • Collection of compliant and approved client testimonials and user-generated content.
  • Timely completion of event-related deliverables.

Employment Details and Benefits

  • Comprehensive compensation with on-target earnings between $70,000 and $80,000 annually.
  • Full benefits package featuring medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more.
  • The company provides necessary equipment for remote work.
