IntellaTriage is rapidly expanding and offers nurses the opportunity to work from home, delivering care without the stress or costs associated with daily commuting.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

• Provide patient care via the Nurse Advice Line from a home office.
• Work Monday to Friday with 2-3 shifts during weekdays.
• Work two weekends out of every three, covering both Saturday and Sunday on those weekends with rotating times.
• Participate in a three-week paid remote training program (Week 1: Mon-Thurs 9a-6p CST).
• Prepare for shifts by clocking in at least 30 minutes prior to calls.
• Complete necessary charting after shift before logging off; this may take 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on call volume and typing speed.
• Ensure patient calls are handled efficiently and empathetically, adhering to client protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality by working in a quiet, distraction-free home office space compliant with HIPAA privacy standards.
• Handle high call volumes, with a minimum of 5+ calls per hour during weekdays and higher volumes on weekends.
• Have no call quotas; focus is on patient care quality.
• Ability to work additional shifts as needed when available.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession or willingness to obtain a Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, residing in a state that is part of the Nursing Licensure Compact (excludes states with pending or future implementation).
• Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year experience in a high-pressure setting such as Emergency Department, Critical Care, Surgical Services, or Medical/Surgical units.
• Tech-savvy with comfort navigating multiple remote applications and documentation during calls.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• High-speed internet connection using fiber optic or coaxial cable with direct modem connection; Wi-Fi is not supported due to call system compatibility.
• Fluency in English required; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to handle stress, multitask efficiently, and communicate empathetically with patients and families.
• Maintain current license, complete continuing education units (CEUs) as required, and attend periodic training and in-services.
• Pass background and nurse licensing verification checks.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States, residing physically in the U.S.

• Employer will provide necessary hardware (laptop and headset).
• Work environment must be private and HIPAA compliant to protect patient confidentiality.
• No PRN positions available; all roles are scheduled.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay of $25 per hour once training is complete and assigned to a team.

Work Schedule

Training

• Three-week paid orientation conducted remotely; no travel required.
• Training schedule includes Week 1: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST.
