Remote Part-time Nurse Advice Line RN (AM Shift 5a-11a CST)

Position Overview

Join IntellaTriage’s expanding team as a Nurse Advice Line Nurse working remotely from home, offering valuable patient care without the hassle of daily commuting.

Key Requirements

• Must already have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license from an approved Compact state (excludes states with pending or future legislation dates).
• Reside and work within a Compact US state.
• At least 3 years as a registered nurse, with minimum 1 year in a high-intensity setting such as Emergency Department, Critical Care, Surgical Services, or Medical/Surgical units.
• Comfortable and proficient with technology and typing, able to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Reliable high-speed internet access via fiberoptic or coaxial cable; Wi-Fi connections are incompatible with required systems.
• Availability to work minimum two out of every three weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday on assigned weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct telephone triage nursing advice, speaking promptly with patients and family members when they call.
• Work primarily AM shifts from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM CST, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotations as scheduled.
• Participate in a structured 3-week paid remote training program, beginning with Week 1 (Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST).
• Prepare for shifts by clocking in at least 30 minutes early; complete necessary charting post-shift which varies in duration based on call volume and personal efficiency.
• Maintain professional standards, follow written and verbal instructions, and ensure all patient interactions comply with HIPAA and organizational protocols.

• Provided equipment includes a laptop and headset; nurses must provide their own compatible internet service.
• A dedicated, quiet home office space free from distractions is essential to ensure privacy and compliance.
• Part-time nurses accrue paid time off annually and receive three paid sick days each year.

• License maintenance and continuing education units (CEUs) are required per state regulations.
• Background checks and license verifications are mandatory for employment.

• No PRN positions are available; this role requires scheduled, consistent participation.
