About the Role
Join the compassionate team at Edmund Hillary Retirement Village in Remuera, Auckland, as a part-time Caregiver. This position requires working Sundays and Mondays from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. You will provide compassionate, personalized care based on individual resident care plans, ensuring your care meets the standards you'd want for your own family. The role includes building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, utilizing technology such as the purpose-built myRyman care app, and collaborating with colleagues to foster a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care adhering to individualized resident plans, with empathy and respect.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Utilize the myRyman app and other technology to enhance care delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive workplace.
Candidate Profile
We seek caring individuals with strong empathy, outstanding communication skills, and a reliable, professional attitude. Prior experience in aged care is advantageous but not mandatory. Applicants must have valid New Zealand work rights due to immigration requirements.
