Position Summary
The Paid Social Assistant Manager will be responsible for strategizing, launching, and optimizing paid social marketing campaigns across Aspen's mountains and hospitality brands. This role combines creative insight and data analytics to drive bookings, sales, and brand engagement for premier ski destinations and lifestyle brands. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, it suits marketers who excel in fast-paced, seasonal, and lifestyle-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute paid social campaigns across various brands, selecting audience targeting, ad formats, creatives, and conversion tracking.
- Test and manage advertising campaigns on emerging platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, contributing insights for reporting.
- Monitor campaign metrics daily, including spend pacing, click-through rates, ROAS, and cost per action, adjusting bids and budgets to meet goals.
- Develop refined audience strategies involving prospecting, lookalike, retargeting, and CRM-segment approaches targeting skiers, luxury travelers, and resort shoppers.
- Plan and analyze A/B and multivariate creative tests, delivering actionable learnings to creative teams.
- Collaborate with data analytics leadership to build automated dashboards and produce comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports with executive summaries.
- Coordinate with creative, branding, and content teams to craft data-driven, audience-specific creatives for outdoor, luxury, and lifestyle segments.
- Align campaigns with e-commerce and business marketing teams to synchronize promotions, product performance, inventory, and messaging.
- Manage Meta Business Manager administration including user access, settings, pixels, and integrations, serving as liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed on platform updates, new paid social trends, and market dynamics in travel and recreation to shape strategies.
- Support Project Management coordination using tools like Asana, Airtable, and Figma for managing creative deliverables.
- Assist with paid campaigns beyond social media, including paid search and display advertising.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related discipline strongly preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience managing paid social campaigns, preferably within retail e-commerce, hospitality, travel sectors, with agency exposure.
- Proven expertise in Meta Ads Manager and at least one other platform such as TikTok or Pinterest Ads, including budget management.
- Strong knowledge of audience targeting tactics, pixel implementation, and conversion optimization strategies.
- Analytical proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Excel for digital reporting and insights.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management capabilities, adept with multiple stakeholders and agency coordination.
- Familiarity with project management platforms like Asana or Jira and creative collaboration tools including Airtable and Figma.
- Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
- Understanding of creative best practices for short-form video, user-generated content, and influencer marketing.
- Relevant certifications like Meta Blueprint are a plus.

Compensation
This salaried position offers an annual salary from $60,000 to $75,000, dependent on experience and budget, with eligibility for bonuses.
