Orthopedics Sales Specialist – Joint Reconstruction Division

This position in the Joint Reconstruction Business within the Orthopedics Division focuses on engaging orthopedic surgeons to provide surgical internal fixation implants, specifically artificial joint products. You will be responsible for promoting the safety and efficacy of these implants and addressing patient challenges through solution-based sales activities. The Joint Business operates in the largest orthopedic market segment, specializing in artificial knee and hip joints, and maintains a historically top-tier position. Although currently ranked third in market share, the brand is globally recognized, and we are executing a mid-to-long-term strategy to increase share by meeting the needs of Japanese physicians.

Responsibilities

• Promote products to orthopedic surgeons emphasizing safety and effectiveness.
• Attend surgical procedures to ensure the safe use of Johnson & Johnson products.
• Collaborate with distributors to manage logistics efficiently.
• Strive to enhance patient quality of life through targeted solutions.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage medical professionals.
• Capability to deliver presentations with confidence and clarity.
• Basic computer proficiency for daily tasks and reporting.

Mandatory Qualification

• Possession of a valid ordinary driver’s license.

Health Related Confirmations

• In the past five years, no incidents of loss of consciousness related or unrelated to illness.
• In the past five years, no temporary inability to move parts or the entirety of the body due to illness.
• No occurrences in the past five years of falling asleep three or more times per week during daytime activities despite adequate sleep.
• Within the past year, no repeated episodes (three or more times) of continuous alcohol consumption over three days or more, despite medical advice to abstain.
• No medical advisement to refrain from obtaining or continuing to hold a driver's license due to illness.
