Job description
Role overview
The OR Scheduler manages the arrangement of elective surgical procedures for the operating room and endoscopy, along with anesthesia-only cases performed outside the operating room. This does not include labor and delivery at Women’s and Children or the cath lab. In addition to scheduling, the role supports physicians and staff, maintains clear and effective communication, helps keep the office environment safe and organized, and assists with onboarding new team members.
Education
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience
At least 1 year of prior experience in a secretarial, receptionist, or customer service role is required. Experience in a medical setting is preferred.
