Role Overview

The Online English Teacher will be responsible for delivering compelling English lessons to elementary students using digital education tools and resources endorsed by the school. Key duties include preparing and conducting online classes that enhance reading, writing, listening, and speaking competencies; evaluating student progress through assignments and continual assessments; and maintaining effective communication with learners and their guardians. The position also requires participating in school meetings, coordinating curriculum and student support efforts with colleagues, and managing accurate records of attendance and academic performance. This role requires physical presence on-site in Metro Davao, with online sessions conducted from the school premises.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Excellent command of English encompassing grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing capabilities.
• Ability to craft suitable lesson plans, activities, and assessments tailored for young learners.
• Proficiency in operating computers, virtual teaching platforms, and essential educational technologies.
• Strong skills in classroom and online environment management ensuring student engagement and effective time use.
• Clear and courteous communication skills with aptitude to simplify explanations and offer constructive guidance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related discipline; possession or eligibility for a teaching license is favored.
