Job Overview

We seek a committed and enthusiastic Post Graduate Teacher specializing in English to join our academic staff. The successful candidate will be tasked with teaching English Language and Literature to senior secondary students (Classes 11 and 12), encouraging critical thinking, effective communication, and a deep appreciation for literary studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans conforming to the board's curriculum for English Language and Literature.
• Maintain an interactive, inclusive, and well-disciplined classroom environment.
• Create examination papers, administer regular assessments, grade assignments and exams, and offer detailed feedback to enhance student learning.
• Provide mentorship tailored to individual student needs to support success in board examinations.
• Support co-curricular activities such as literary events, debates, elocution contests, and school newsletters.
• Engage professionally in Parent-Teacher Meetings to discuss student progress and developmental matters.

Work Schedule

Full-time position requiring 7.5 hours on-site daily, inclusive of morning assembly/prayer and breaks.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree in English (Literature or Linguistics) from a reputable university.
• Mandatory Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification.
• Preferable prior experience teaching as a PGT English Teacher at senior secondary or high school level.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with modern educational technology, including digital teaching aids and smart classroom tools.
