About LOVB

League One Volleyball (LOVB) is building a new model for women’s sports. Since 2019, the organization has been a mission-driven sports performance, training, and media business focused on growing volleyball in the United States and creating opportunities for the next generation of female athletes.

Volleyball in the U.S. is at a unique inflection point: it has multiple Olympic gold medals across women’s indoor, beach, and sitting volleyball, is the most played girls’ youth sport, and has tens of millions of current and former players. Despite that scale, the sport has historically been underrepresented by traditional investors, brands, and media. LOVB is working to change that by building a strong club foundation, a pro league, and a connected digital ecosystem that brings together every part of the brand and community.

Role overview

LOVB is hiring a Youth Onboarding Coordinator to support People Success with day-to-day onboarding and employee data administration for its youth workforce. This temporary-to-hire role focuses on new-hire processing, accurate recordkeeping, and support for employee data migration into a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

The role is best suited to someone who wants to grow a career in Human Resources while gaining practical exposure to HR operations, HR systems, and onboarding in a fast-moving, expanding organization.

Key responsibilities

You will work closely with the People Success team to keep onboarding work accurate, timely, and well organized.

  • Handle a high volume of new-hire onboarding tasks in Paycor, Rippling, and the new HCM platform.
  • Prepare, check, and maintain employee files so documentation stays complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Coordinate onboarding steps such as paperwork, system access setup, and employee communications.
  • Track onboarding progress and address missing information or data issues before they create delays.
  • Carry out routine employee data entry, updates, audits, and maintenance across several HR systems.
  • Verify employee details to support accurate system migration and smooth ongoing operations.
  • Assist with cleanup projects by spotting inconsistencies and working with the People Success team to fix them.
  • Protect employee privacy and data security while following company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Answer standard questions about onboarding and HRIS processes from employees and internal partners.
  • Help with document handling, reporting, and other administrative People Success projects as needed.
  • Suggest practical process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and the onboarding experience.
  • Support additional operational work during the HCM rollout as priorities change.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Prior exposure to HRIS tools such as Paycor, Rippling, or comparable systems is preferred.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with a service-oriented approach.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Comfort using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, technology, and changing business processes.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, system migrations, or major data cleanup work is a plus.
  • Background in a high-growth, fast-paced, or startup environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with employee onboarding and HRIS data management is preferred.
  • Direct experience with Paycor and/or Rippling is highly desirable.

Work arrangement

This is a remote U.S.-based role with occasional travel for site visits and business-related events.

Schedule options include Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with hours varying by time zone.

The position is classified as non-exempt and sits at Level 1: Individual Contributor.

Work environment and physical requirements

  • Must be able to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly by video, phone, and written channels.
  • Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events.
