Job description

About the Role

Citi is a global financial institution with a long history of serving consumers, businesses, governments, and institutions across many countries. This role sits within Citi Wealth, which supports a wide spectrum of wealth clients, from affluent customers to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices. The team helps clients manage liquidity, improve yield, handle foreign currency and cross-border transactions, and stay on top of changing cash flow needs.

Citi is hiring an Officer, Securities & Derivatives Analyst based in Singapore. The internal job title is Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 – C09. The role is hybrid.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of derivative trade lifecycle events.
  • Deliver analytical and administrative support to sales teams, product desks, and business execution teams for derivatives and securities transactions.
  • Reduce processing risk by investigating discrepancies or sudden changes in trade positions and by following audit and control requirements.
  • Raise issues promptly and manage incoming client and business queries and ad hoc requests.
  • Share practical guidance with colleagues and provide on-the-job support when needed.
  • Help the team during high-volume periods, cover absences, and support the onboarding and training of new joiners.
  • Work with technology partners to resolve production issues.
  • Take part in UAT activities, including reviewing test cases and test evidence.

What We're Looking For

  • A relevant degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong comfort with numerical work, transaction handling, and detail-oriented processing.
  • Experience working effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to stay productive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or an equivalent professional background.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Access to wellness support, including telehealth options, health advocates, and confidential counseling, where available by country.
  • Expanded paid parental leave designed to support employees as they transition into parenthood.
  • Resources to help employees manage financial well-being and plan for the future.
  • Learning and development tools to build skills and support career growth.
  • Programs and paid time off options that help employees balance work and life.
  • Volunteer-related resources and opportunities to support local communities.
