Role overview
This position is an entry-level operations role within transaction services, focused on handling orders and transaction flows from trading desks and branch offices. The main purpose of the role is to support the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivative transactions while working closely with the operations team.
What you will do
- Check trade details to confirm booking requests are accurate before processing.
- Create and reconcile trade confirmations using ISDA-based templates.
- Carry out settlement activities and daily revaluation tasks with accuracy and within deadlines.
- Route processing issues to the right team and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Carry out regulatory checks, account reconciliations, and record-retention work in line with internal policies.
- Prepare and file recurring regulatory submissions for both internal and external use.
- Take part in scheduled general ledger proofing exercises when assigned.
- Evaluate business decisions with a strong focus on risk awareness, compliance, ethical conduct, and timely escalation of control issues.
What we are looking for
- Prior relevant experience is preferred.
- A working understanding of treasury products, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage several tasks or projects at the same time in a high-risk environment.
- Comfort using macros as part of day-to-day work.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills that are clear and concise.
Education
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.
