Job description
Role Overview
This position sits within the Technology Risk and Control function, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, including Generative AI and Agentic AI. The role is centered on strengthening AI-related controls, supporting governance and risk management enhancements, and helping the organization adopt AI technologies safely across enterprise applications and business processes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the improvement and scaling of AI controls, governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work alongside AI engineering and technology teams to ensure AI solutions are developed in line with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Evaluate AI-related risks across applications, systems, platforms, and use cases, then raise concerns where needed.
- Help design and implement mitigation actions, controls, and risk response strategies for AI.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit and second-line risk stakeholders on AI-focused reviews, challenges, and issue responses.
- Track remediation actions, risk breaches, and control gaps, ensuring matters are escalated appropriately and remain within the expected risk appetite.
- Identify opportunities to improve risk and control processes through the use of AI.
- Contribute to risk-based discussions and clearly explain the potential impact of issues and control weaknesses.

Experience and Background
The preferred background includes experience in a technology risk and control role, ideally with exposure to emerging technologies. Prior work reviewing or auditing Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model implementations is highly valuable. Experience in application development, application or system risk assessments, cloud architecture, and threat modelling will strengthen the fit for this position. Exposure to Agentic AI or Generative AI is especially relevant.
Working Model and Compensation
This role is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. The workplace follows a business-casual environment with a hybrid arrangement that allows up to 2 days of work from home each week. The salary range for this full-time position is €93,280.00 to €139,920.00 annually, with pay reviewed on a yearly basis. The job is for an existing vacancy.
