Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN - Home Health Care

Position Overview

We are recruiting a proficient Occupational Therapist to join our team as a full-time home health care provider, serving patients in their residences across multiple locations including Cedar Crest, Cockrell Hill, Seagoville, Oak Leaf, Balch Spring, Glenn Heights, Lancaster, Duncanville, Desoto, and Oak Cliff within South Dallas, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their individual needs and design tailored therapy plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy treatments directly in patients' homes.
• Track patient improvements and modify therapy plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with other health care practitioners to deliver holistic patient care.
• Maintain detailed records documenting patient progress and treatment details.
• Educate both patients and their families on therapy methods and prescribed home exercises.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a current and valid license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrated experience in home health occupational therapy practice.
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as cooperatively within a team setting.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities to solve clinical challenges.
• Must have the ability and willingness to travel to patient residences for service delivery.
