Nursery Teacher

Role overview

We are looking for caring, patient, and experienced nursery teachers to join a new school in a start-up setting. This is a specialist early years position focused on babies and toddlers, so the right candidate will need strong knowledge of child development and a genuine commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Age groups

• Nursery 0: children aged 3 to 11 months
• Nursery 1 & 2: children aged 1 to 3 years, in a mixed-age classroom (2 vacancies)

Key responsibilities

• Design and organize age-appropriate learning and play activities that support children’s overall growth.
• Partner with support staff to maintain each child’s safety, comfort, hygiene, and general well-being.
• Handle day-to-day care duties such as feeding, diaper changing, cleaning, and settling children for naps.
• Keep communication with parents open, positive, and reassuring, serving as a reliable connection between the home and the school.
• Work alongside colleagues to ensure teaching and care remain aligned with the IB approach and the school’s guiding philosophy.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working with infants and toddlers between 3 months and 3 years of age.
• A degree or professional qualification in Early Years or Nursery Education, which is required for visa processing.
• Strong English communication skills for interaction with staff and families.
• A flexible, collaborative mindset with respect for different cultures.

Application process

This recruitment covers multiple nursery teaching roles, and candidates will be considered through a combined selection process. Placement into the 3–11 months group or the 1–3 years group will depend on your background and your preferences, which you should share during the process.
