Role Overview
Prince Sultan University in Riyadh is inviting applications for a full-time male faculty position within the General Studies Department, focused on Communication Skills. The selected candidate will help students strengthen their ability to communicate effectively in academic, professional, and social settings.
What You Will Do
- Instruct undergraduate classes in communication skills, covering areas such as public speaking, interpersonal communication, and professional writing.
- Prepare and deliver interactive, learner-focused lessons that encourage participation and practical skill growth.
- Support students through mentoring and academic guidance to improve communication and overall academic performance.
- Take part in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, assessment activities, and outreach initiatives.
- Contribute to research and scholarly work related to communication.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A master’s degree in Communication, Media Studies, English, or a closely related discipline is the minimum academic requirement.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. are especially encouraged to apply.
- Prior teaching experience in communication or a similar subject at the tertiary level is expected.
- Applicants should bring strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities and be comfortable working with students from varied backgrounds.
- A willingness to adopt innovative teaching methods and continue professional development is important.
- Background in Media Studies or Digital Communication will be viewed favorably.
Compensation and Benefits
Prince Sultan University offers a competitive package aligned with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. The campus is located in north-central Riyadh and provides a strong academic and living environment.
- One-year contract that may be renewed depending on performance evaluations.
- Tax-free salary that varies by academic rank and experience.
