About the Role
Jumeirah International Nurseries, a leading British Early Childhood Centre brand in the UAE with over 40 years of experience and multiple awards, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for its Early Childhood Centre in Sharjah. This role demands dynamic leadership to oversee all academic and operational functions of the centre, ensuring exceptional standards of early childhood education and care for children aged 45 days to 6 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily academic and operational activities of the Early Childhood Centre, aligning with the organisation's vision.
- Maximise enrolment in various programmes and ensure efficient recruitment, retention, and development of staff.
- Manage financial systems related to the centre's operations.
- Implement and maintain a balanced curriculum based on EYFS and IPC frameworks, enriched by play-based learning approaches such as Reggio Emilia, Curiosity Approach, and Fortes’ Accelerated Learning programmes.
- Maintain facility standards in compliance with relevant regulations from Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), SEHA, Sharjah Municipality, and other authorities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent professional certification (e.g., Level 5 vocational qualification).
- Minimum of three years’ experience in managing an Early Childhood setting.
- In-depth understanding of childcare regulations and requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a dedicated work ethic.
