Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Sourcer Recruiter to discover top talent across the United States, supporting Amazon's rapid growth. This position focuses on recruiting distribution and operations professionals nationwide, within a team committed to a collaborative and service-oriented culture dedicated to delivering high-quality internal support.
Key Responsibilities
- Source passive candidates by profiling and evaluating their fit and motivation rather than simply selling roles.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates using market research and relationship management.
- Conduct thorough candidate interviews with an ability to predict hiring manager preferences, achieving high offer-to-interview ratios.
- Suggest recruitment strategies and ideas that contribute to the company's long-term growth.
- Refine and implement recruiting processes aligned with Amazon's mission to offer the highest quality results.
- Create detailed recruitment plans, including deliverables and timelines, with formal tracking.
Sourcing and Candidate Engagement
- Utilize Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web, and other sourcing platforms to identify remote candidates.
- Engage candidates to build interest and assess suitability.
- Screen candidates effectively during recruiter phone screens.
Screening and Evaluation
- Conduct phone and virtual candidate assessments to verify qualifications and skill alignment.
- Use ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and similar platforms for candidate management and sourcing.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in advanced Boolean search techniques to find niche talent across various platforms.
- Strong ability to engage passive candidates, gather role requirements, source and screen specialized profiles.
- Competent in communicating the value of roles to candidates.
- Creative problem-solving for efficient and innovative sourcing strategies.

- Insight into talent market intelligence for sourcing from target organizations.
Work Schedule and Location
- Location options include Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon.
- This is a remote role requiring availability from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST.
- The position is a 6-month contract.
About the Team
You will join the Global Strategic Sourcing team, which supports Amazon Talent Acquisition globally. This team focuses on scalable, cost-effective sourcing solutions for non-technical and high-volume recruitment across multiple regions including the Americas, Europe, AMET, and India.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with contact management or applicant tracking systems to source, track, and manage candidates.
- Ability to gather market intelligence in saturated hiring markets.
- At least 2 years of experience in talent sourcing and non-technical recruiting, especially within non-tech domains like Field Operations sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling both high volume and specialized niche hiring.
