Overview

Amazon India Ads Finance is looking for an Analyst to join their Sales Incentive Planning (SIP) & Insights team. The SIP team manages the complete lifecycle of incentive compensation programs for sales incentive-eligible employees in the Ads division in India.

This position entails taking ownership of daily operations related to the incentive system, including activities such as reconciling data, preparing payout files, administering compensation plans, and resolving queries. The role involves creating and refining operational workflows to enhance accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of incentive programs while ensuring coordination between Sales, HR, and global Ads Finance to guarantee timely, accurate payments and strong compliance adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, check, and submit calculation and payout files promptly for compensation distribution.
  • Handle SIM (Sales Incentive Management) tickets and address related queries effectively.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures and operational mechanisms to encourage consistency and limit manual interventions.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for system and process changes prior to implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, methodologies, and audit standards across all activities.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Sales, and Finance partners on modifications to plans, escalations, and necessary approvals.
  • Design automation, templates, and dashboards to improve operational efficiency as the incentive program expands.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Commerce (B.Com).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Preferred: Over 3 years of experience in finance operations or shared services including accounts payable, receivables (collections), or general ledger management.
