Role Overview
This position focuses on developing and executing national shopper marketing strategies that align closely with brand goals and commercial priorities. It centers on understanding consumer behaviors to craft impactful activation campaigns tailored across various retail channels including grocery, mass merchandise, e-commerce, on-premise, and convenience outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Create shopper marketing plans that resonate with the target audience and reinforce brand messaging.
- Analyze shopper insights and trends to build effective marketing activations.
- Collaborate extensively with Sales and Brand Marketing to synchronize shopper programs with overall product launches and campaigns.
- Customize shopper initiatives to support specific customer business strategies.
- Oversee budget allocation for shopper marketing activities ensuring efficient resource use.
- Assess campaign outcomes by monitoring ROI, sales influence, and performance metrics to optimize future efforts.
- Utilize shopper analytics, point-of-sale data, and market research to refine marketing approaches and influence shopper purchasing journeys.
- Generate detailed post-campaign reports for stakeholders to impart insights and lessons learned.
Required Skills and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or brand marketing, preferably within consumer packaged goods or retail sectors.
- In-depth comprehension of diverse retail environments and shopper purchasing behavior across multiple channels.
- Proven history working alongside major national retailers and directly managing joint business plans.
- Strong capability in executing data-driven marketing initiatives with quantifiable impact.

Additional Information
This is a replacement role with a hybrid working model located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The anticipated salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $120,000 annually, dependent on candidate experience.
