About the Role

As the Regional Manager for Commercial Planning in Bacardi's Open East Region, you will be the leading brand authority driving strategic execution of the Brand Plan in collaboration with BUSA and distributor teams. Your focus will be to enhance brand performance by engaging commercial teams and executing targeted sales and marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales and brand objectives for the region while managing the KY Market Manager and distributor collaborations to meet NSV and depletion targets.
  • Implement brand initiatives as outlined in the Integrated Activity Plan and coordinate with commercial teams to achieve annual and tactical goals.
  • Oversee multiple cross-functional tasks with strong communication to ensure effective strategy execution across markets.
  • Innovate in developing and improving activation programs and maintain close coordination with state field teams on brand operations and programming.
  • Analyze industry data and insights to formulate tactical plans supporting brand growth.
  • Manage the regional budget, collaborating with partners like TEAM Enterprises to optimize resources, particularly within the Retail Specialist program.
  • Act as a general manager for Angel’s Envy and Dusse brands on and off premise, driving volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Coordinate sales programs, pricing strategies, and forecasting with BUSA commercial and finance teams as well as distributor partners.
  • Lead market blitz initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic brand goals.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders including NAOP/NRS liaisons to support national account programming.
  • Regularly assess budget efficiencies to maximize investment ROI and serve as key resource for partners in the region.
  • Conduct routine meetings to evaluate and adjust territory programming and leverage promotional activities.
  • Oversee communications and allocation for the single barrel program, ensuring project timelines and regional market share goals are met.
  • Deliver actionable business reviews with insights for marketing and commercial teams and track competitor activities to recommend execution improvements.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ sales experience at a state or channel level, preferably within Spirits or Beverage sectors.
  • Demonstrated management or supervisory experience with ability to build winning teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver tailored sales presentations and programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Diver software, and related applications.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Additional Information
