About Vitaco and Role Overview
At Vitaco, a leading health and wellness company in Australasia known for brands like Musashi, Nutra-Life, Healtheries, and Athena, the National Business Manager will lead our collaboration with the Sigma Healthcare Group, partnering with Chemist Warehouse, Amcal, Discount Drug Stores, and Sigma Wholesale. This pivotal role carries full responsibility for securing profitable sales growth and strengthening strategic alliances across vitamins, minerals, supplements, and sports nutrition categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategic account plans focused on increasing revenue, profit, market share, and distribution.
- Lead initiatives such as Joint Business Planning, annual trade negotiations, and perform regular customer business reviews.
- Manage customer profit and loss accounts, forecasting, trade investments, cooperative funding, and measure ROI to enhance commercial results.
- Identify growth opportunities by leveraging customer, category, shopper, and market data, transforming insights into compelling business proposals.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Buyers, Merchandise Managers, and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multiple departments including Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Field Sales to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
- Coach and support an Account Analyst, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience managing major national accounts within FMCG, retail pharmacy, healthcare, or nutrition sectors.
- Proven ability to achieve profitable growth through strategic planning, commercial negotiations, and collaborative business planning.
- Strong commercial skills, including managing customer P&Ls, forecasting, trade investments, and ROI analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing capabilities, and relationship-building skills geared toward senior customer engagement.
- Analytical proficiency in interpreting customer, category, and market insights to identify business opportunities.
- Collaborative leadership style capable of influencing cross-functional teams and thriving in a dynamic environment.
