The position focuses on business development, supplier relationship management, and market expansion. The selected professional will work with automotive recyclers, dismantlers, salvage yards, automotive groups, and industrial accounts to build long-term commercial partnerships and strengthen the company’s position as a preferred catalyst recycling and recovery partner.

This is a remote role with nationwide field travel of up to 60%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national sourcing efforts for automotive and other catalyst or precious metal-bearing materials.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new supplier relationships while growing existing accounts.
  • Manage bid activity, create competitive tolling arrangements, and negotiate pricing approaches.
  • Visit supplier sites regularly, including auto recyclers, dismantlers, scrap processors, and industrial accounts across the U.S.
  • Create territory and account expansion plans through consistent in-person engagement and proactive development.
  • Build supplier confidence through clear communication, transparency, and dependable relationship management.
  • Represent AIM Honeycomb at trade shows, conferences, and supplier visits to help increase market share.
  • Study market conditions and competitor activity to improve pricing, margins, and growth decisions.
  • Work with operations, logistics, administration, and finance teams to ensure smooth commercial execution.
  • Use supplier feedback and field insights to enhance commercial performance, service quality, and supplier satisfaction.
  • Apply CRM systems, analytics, and market intelligence to manage pipeline activity, forecast supply, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen results.
  • Act as the main commercial contact for assigned national accounts and strategic supplier relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, national account management, or business development.
  • Strong history of prospecting, developing, and expanding strategic or national accounts.
  • Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and deliver revenue growth.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote, field-based role with strong self-direction.
  • Willingness to travel nationally for up to 60% of the time.
  • High level of proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven growth tools.
  • Ability to build pipelines, spot opportunities, and turn prospects into long-term partnerships.
  • Background in automotive, metals, recycling, or similar industries is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

Total compensation is stated at $100K–$150K+ annually, including base pay and incentive compensation. The package also includes vacation, benefits, and a 401(k) matching program.
