Role Summary

An exciting opportunity is open for a high-achieving National Accounts Manager to support AIM Honeycomb’s expansion across the United States. This position blends business development, sales, supplier relationship management, and market growth. The main focus is to strengthen the national supplier base, grow commercial partnerships, and increase AIM Honeycomb’s reach in key markets.

The role involves working with automotive recyclers, dismantlers, salvage yards, automotive groups, and industrial customers nationwide. The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, relationship-oriented, comfortable working in the field, and able to produce measurable revenue and growth outcomes.

This is a remote position with national travel of up to 60%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, negotiate, and close long-term buying agreements, toll refining contracts, and strategic supply arrangements that improve volume, profitability, and margin.
  • Lead sourcing efforts for automotive and other catalyst or precious metal-containing materials.
  • Identify, approach, and convert new suppliers while growing current accounts.
  • Manage bids, prepare competitive tolling structures, and negotiate pricing plans.
  • Visit supplier sites regularly, including auto recyclers, dismantlers, scrap processors, and industrial businesses across the U.S.
  • Create territory and account expansion plans through consistent in-person engagement and active account development.
  • Develop trust with suppliers through transparency, steady communication, and reliable relationship management.
  • Represent AIM Honeycomb at trade shows, conferences, and supplier meetings to increase market presence.
  • Review market and competitor movements to improve pricing, margin, and growth decisions.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, administration, and finance teams to support smooth commercial execution.
  • Use supplier feedback and field insights to improve commercial performance, service quality, and supplier satisfaction.
  • Apply CRM systems, analytics, and market data to track pipeline activity, forecast supply, uncover growth opportunities, and improve results.
  • Act as the main commercial contact for assigned national accounts and strategic supplier relationships.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, national account management, or business development is required.
  • A demonstrated history of building, developing, and expanding strategic or national accounts is needed.
  • Strong success in negotiating commercial terms and generating revenue growth is expected.
  • The candidate should be self-directed, target-focused, and able to work independently in a remote, field-based role.
  • Willingness to travel nationally for up to 60% of the time is essential.
  • Advanced CRM proficiency and the ability to use data and analytics for growth planning are required.
  • Capability to identify opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and turn prospects into long-term partnerships is important.
  • Experience in automotive, metals, recycling, or similar industries is preferred.

The overall pay is competitive at $100K–$150K+ annually, combining base pay and incentive compensation, and includes vacation, benefits, and a 401(k) matching program.

Eligible dependents may receive an annual AIM tuition scholarship of up to $8,500.

The company also provides the tools, training, and support needed for success and career growth, along with a lively and rewarding workplace.
