Role Overview
TikTok LIVE represents a rapidly expanding segment of TikTok’s global platform, providing creators with innovative tools for live audience engagement. The LIVE Creator Growth team is dedicated to enhancing creator success, nurturing the music ecosystem, and driving sustainable growth through strategic management, partnerships, and scalable initiatives. We are seeking a data-driven and relationship-oriented Music Creator Strategist to contribute to shaping the future of music livestreaming on TikTok.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee strategy and implementation of programs accelerating growth within TikTok LIVE’s music ecosystem.
- Manage strategic coaching for a portfolio of promising music creators to boost audience growth, engagement, and monetization.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the creator community across different tiers (emerging to top creators) and identify primary growth factors and lifecycle patterns.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with creators, agencies, and managers, acting as a strategic advisor for long-term success.
- Analyze data to identify best practices and apply learnings to wide-reaching ecosystem initiatives.
- Plan and lead strategic projects such as creator showcases, educational programs, industry events, and major campaigns.
- Forge and manage partnerships with music festivals, brands, agencies, artist teams, and industry bodies to support creator recruitment and education.
- Manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring effective coordination of timelines, stakeholders, budgets, and deliverables.
- Create scalable resources such as toolkits, playbooks, and content to convey strategy into actionable guidance for creators.
- Use metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, deriving actionable insights to refine and expand successful programs.
- Drive key performance indicators related to creator activation, engagement, monetization, and retention.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, assess creator success, and support strategic decision-making.
- Build reporting systems and dashboards for tracking program impacts across recruitment, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Compose business cases and recommendations for leadership through data-informed insights and clear communication.
- Remain current on music industry developments, creator behaviors, livestreaming trends, and opportunities within the creator economy.
- Contribute to TikTok LIVE’s long-term music strategy by discovering new creator segments, partnerships, and scalable growth paths.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in creator management, partnerships, strategy, consulting, program management, business operations, or growth within tech, media, entertainment, or the creator economy.
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, including focus on growth, engagement, and monetization.
- Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience leveraging data tools such as dashboards and cohort/funnel analyses for informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with direct engagement experience involving external partners, creators, or clients.
- Highly organized and adept at juggling multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Preferred experience in music, entertainment, livestreaming, creator platforms, or digital media.
- Familiarity with monetization models within the creator economy.
- Experience building partnerships with brands, agencies, festivals, artists, or entertainment organizations.
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling new strategic programs from concept through execution.

Compensation & Benefits
For this position based in Los Angeles, the base salary ranges from $103,360 to $209,380 per year, subject to factors including qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Compensation extends beyond base pay to include possible bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits begin on the first day of employment including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, and wellness programs. Employees receive 10 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 17 Paid Personal Time days annually, with accrual rates increasing by tenure.
