Job description
About the Team
Within TikTok's Global Business Marketing unit, the Global Integrated Marketing & Communications (GIMC) team drives how TikTok for Business presents itself worldwide, overseeing campaigns, creative efforts, communication channels, and events across a multifaceted global framework. Successful operation of this complex engine demands precise operational acumen, proactive execution, and an aptitude for detail orientation.
Role Overview
This position involves hands-on operational duties, ideal for detail-focused individuals who excel in organizing, driving coordination, and thriving amid the intricacies of an agile international marketing division. The Manager will aid the Strategy & Operations Lead in managing daily workflows, budget monitoring, vendor coordination, project support, and fostering cohesive team progress across various initiatives.
This is strictly an execution-focused role requiring agile follow-through and a commitment to ensuring smooth operational functioning, rather than high-level strategic advising.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the GIMC budget including forecasting and scenario planning in partnership with Finance and Procurement teams.
- Maintain alignment with Global Core S&O on leadership team engagements, budget plans, reporting, and resource distribution.
- Identify and apply process improvements spanning campaign management, creative production, channel marketing, and event coordination.
- Contribute to organizational change and continuous process optimization efforts.
- Support the drafting and management of Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and vendor agreements for key projects and strategic endeavors.
- Collaborate with Procurement and central operations to onboard agencies, freelancers, and vendors ensuring procedural compliance.
- Maintain and govern agency and freelance rosters, resource planning, and vendor management processes.
- Support evolution of agency governance, including managing retainers, scopes, and performance evaluations.
- Provide project management aid on cross-functional initiatives—from conceptualization through delivery—tracking timelines, risks, dependencies, and facilitating team alignment for priority execution.
- Administer resource allocation and escalate blockers as needed.
- Manage the Canva platform, encompassing template administration, governance, access controls, analytics, and user support.
- Oversee project portfolio and operations tracking using Asana and similar tools alongside data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in roles such as Strategy & Operations, Program or Project Management, Marketing or Agency Operations.
- Background in marketing, creative, events, media, or technology sectors preferred.
- Proficient in cross-functional program execution, budget oversight, forecasting, finance tracking and vendor relationship management.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes, contract and SOW management, and vendor onboarding.
- Strong multitasking capabilities managing multiple stakeholders, priorities, and project constraints effectively.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, and automation integration for efficiency gains.
- Skilled in preparing executive-level presentations, operational reports and business review documents.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting organizational planning, resource management, and scenario planning efforts.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity with sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail paired with a proactive and solution-driven outlook.
- Fluency with project management software (Asana) and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
