Multi-Property Associate Welfare Specialist & Hotel Nurse

Position Overview

This role involves supporting multiple properties as a Welfare Specialist and Nurse within a hotel environment. The primary responsibility includes addressing patients' inquiries, assessing conditions, documenting medical information, and providing both immediate and ongoing patient care. This includes measuring vital signs, administering medications or intravenous fluids, and executing basic healthcare treatments such as wound care and temperature monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patient questions and determine the necessary assistance.
• Record symptoms, medical data, and any changes in patient conditions.
• Make referrals as needed to ensure appropriate care.
• Perform patient assessments and implement care plans based on findings.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids, keeping accurate records of time and dosage.
• Provide basic patient care including temperature and blood pressure monitoring, wound cleaning and dressing, muscle massage, and application of hot or cold treatments.
• Deliver emergency medical treatment for injuries or illnesses and arrange further medical care if necessary.
• Notify both employer and employees of any health issues to prevent or reduce illness risks.
• Maintain confidential records of guest health assessments and counseling.
• Remain current with professional knowledge and undertake continuous learning to handle unfamiliar situations.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, including accident and injury reporting and use of personal protective equipment.
• Ensure confidentiality and protection of company assets.
• Anticipate and meet guest service needs, communicating clearly and professionally.
• Enforce compliance with company and regulatory standards among employees.
• Build and maintain positive team relationships and effectively address colleague concerns.
• Meet quality assurance standards.
• Perform physical tasks including manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills, bending, twisting, lifting up to 10 pounds, and similar activities.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least three years of relevant work experience.
• Must hold a current Registered Nurse professional license in the practicing state.
• No supervisory experience required.
