Job Description
As a Mortgage Specialist on the Core Banking team, your primary mission is to expand UOB's mortgage loan portfolio by offering comprehensive advisory services from start to finish. You will be accountable for meeting personal sales objectives while ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the loan application and approval processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise customers on property financing options aligned to their needs.
- Proactively acquire new clients through cold calls, referrals, and participation in promotional events such as roadshows.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with branch staff, property agents, legal professionals, and developers to generate a steady flow of referrals.
- Strictly adhere to UOB’s internal policies and business procedures to ensure proper advisory protocols and documentation standards are met.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a recognized University Degree or Diploma.
- Preferably possess prior experience in property financing or consumer mortgage sectors.
- Demonstrate a results-driven, dynamic, and self-motivated work style.
- Capable of effective client engagement and relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Track record of consistently surpassing sales targets.
- Resourceful with the capacity to operate with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work weekends as needed.
