SNEF is the national trade union representing over 3,900 employers across all sectors, serving as the voice of employers in Singapore's tripartite system. It acts as a key partner alongside the National Trades Union Congress and the Ministry of Manpower. Role Overview
The Membership Specialist will focus on expanding SNEF's corporate membership base. This role involves managing the entire membership recruitment process—from sourcing and engaging potential members to converting and retaining them. The role requires thriving in a dynamic B2B environment, independently managing responsibilities while also working collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead membership acquisition initiatives, overseeing the recruitment lifecycle from prospecting through onboarding, prioritizing sustainable growth aligned with targets.
- Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of potential members by executing cold outreach, leveraging referral networks, and engaging in relevant industry events. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records to track lead statuses at every stage.
- Evaluate recruitment performance and market patterns to optimize outreach approaches. Produce regular reports detailing key performance indicators and actionable insights.
- Contribute to broader team objectives by taking on assigned projects with adaptability and a cooperative attitude.
Candidate Requirements
- Background in B2B sales, business development, or client relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Proactive sales orientation with strong deal-closing skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Experience confidently engaging senior leaders, including C-suite executives and HR professionals.
- Previous involvement in industry associations, trade bodies, or membership organizations is advantageous.
- Willingness to work weekends and outside regular hours when necessary, with compensatory time off provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Additional Information
This position is a two-year contract role at an executive level (non-managerial), with incentives in addition to the monthly salary. Contract extensions may be offered yearly based on performance outcomes.
