About the Role
HealthCaters delivers preventive health screening services directly within workplaces. Our corporate health events help employees understand their health status by evaluating key indicators.
We seek personable, professional nurses or healthcare practitioners ready to travel for onsite workplace health screenings across various Swiss locations. Depending on availability, occasional support for assignments in neighboring European countries may also be possible.
Responsibilities
- Conduct venous blood draws during workplace health screening events.
- Provide courteous assistance and guidance to participants throughout the screening process.
- Offer brief, clear explanations about measured health data within professional guidelines.
- Support other health screening stations such as blood pressure, body composition, and lung function tests.
- Maintain hygienic, organized, and professional procedures onsite.
- Prepare and tidy workspace and materials before and after each screening event.
- Work collaboratively with HealthCaters staff and fellow healthcare professionals during assignments.
- Document procedures accurately per internal quality control standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completion of nursing or healthcare-related qualifications officially recognized in Switzerland.
- Alternatively, other recognized healthcare credentials with legal approval to perform venous blood collection in Switzerland.
- Proven experience safely performing venous blood draws independently.
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor with professional interaction skills.
- Confidence and enthusiasm in interacting with diverse individuals.
- Independent, reliable, and detail-focused work approach.
- Strong commitment to hygiene, quality assurance, and data protection compliance.
- Willingness to travel for single or multi-day assignments at corporate sites.
- Valid driving license advantageous but not compulsory.
- Fluency in German, French, or Italian required depending on site location; good English skills advantageous.
- Prior experience in preventive healthcare, occupational health, or corporate health screenings beneficial.
Additional Information
This position is flexible and event-driven, compensated hourly or daily with assignments generally lasting one to three days. Candidates must already hold legal authorization to practice nursing or healthcare in Switzerland, including permission for venous blood collection per local regulations. HealthCaters does not offer visa, relocation, licensing, or professional recognition assistance. The role is onsite across various client locations in Switzerland.
