What the role involves

The position is designed for an experienced sales professional who can develop new mortgage business, work independently, and maintain a strong local network. Success in the role comes from proactive outreach, referral generation, and effective relationship management.

• Build mortgage development opportunities through referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners, and other centers of influence.
• Use a sales management system built for TD’s sales channel.
• Work with a Senior District Sales Manager for joint sales calls and monthly coaching.
• Operate with flexibility in your schedule while growing your own business.
• Represent TD’s brand and client-focused approach in the market.

Ideal candidate profile

TD is looking for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong track record, the ability to work without close supervision, and the confidence to win new business in a competitive environment.

The role also calls for strong interpersonal skills, clear communication, customer service ability, networking strength, and relationship management expertise. Knowledge of retail banking and/or credit adjudication is preferred.

Training and development
